From January 2026, all in-person lessons will be available by private or group booking only.

Whether you’d like to enjoy a hands-on Japanese cooking experience with friends, family, or colleagues, I now offer customised private sessions that can be tailored to your interests, schedule, and occasion.

Lesson Options

You can choose from popular options such as Sushi, Ramen, Gyoza, or Japanese Bread, or I can create a tailored lesson designed just for you. Whether it’s a birthday celebration, a team event, or simply a special day of cooking together, we can plan a menu that suits your group and occasion.

    Sushi Mastery Foundation

    • Greeted with green tea
    • 3.5 hour hands-on lesson
    • Create 4 different types of sushi
    • Recipe to take home
    • Lunch is served with some of your creation, also a couple of Japanese side dishes and miso soup
    • A lot of sushi(your own creation) to take home(approximately two to three servings)

    you will see some small Japanese touches throughout the lesson.

    Fresh salmon and fresh tuna sourced from a local fishmonger are included in the fee.

    If you prefer vegetarian /vegan, please choose the option.

  • Sushi Mastery Advanced

    • 3 hour lesson
    • Learn how to make 3 different types of sushi : variations of nigiri, hosomaki, dragon roll
    • Learn how to make tuna tataki
    • Different technique and flavours will be focused
    • Mastering restaurant quality sushi
    • Opportunity to taste fresh wasabi
    • Home made miso soup made with dashi from scratch
    • You take rest of your sushi home
      ( This lesson don't cover how to make sushi rice as it has covered at the foundation lesson)

    you will see some small Japanese touches throughout the lesson.

    Fish and shellfish will be used and served at the lesson.

    I won't be able to accommodate any dietary request. However, for the future lesson, that will be considered.

    Ramen Making Lesson


    Learn the art of making traditional Japanese ramen!

    Experience the delicious and authentic taste of Japan with my Gyoza making lesson.

    Learn how to make gyoza from scratch, filled with pork mince and vegetables, and cook them to perfection.

    Shokupan~ Japanese milk loaf~ + fruit sando & katsu sando

    Shokupan ( Japanese milk bread) is a huge hit that everyone is talking about in the UK right now!
    But why people are so fuss about this ordinary look white loaf? Well, you can only tell when you taste it. I warn you though, once you have this loaf, there is no going back.

    At this lesson, you are going to make one loaf of shokupan each and take it home.

    Once you know how to make shokupan, you might also want to know how to enjoy this loaf in the best possible ways. So we are going to make two unique Japanese "sando"( sandwich), one is Katsu sando and the other is Fruit sando and you are going to taste these for lunch.

    Lunch will be served with your own made katsu sando and fruit sando. Fresh coffee or tea will be served through out.
    You are taking rest of your own bread home.
